Projects

This page allows you to connect to links to my blogs. These blogs are full with descriptive posts and important videos, which show the progression through units and projects, from starting with story and idea brainstorms, to the final complete films that I have contributed to.

30 SECOND PIECE

This project is an individual one. Still under production, I will keep the progess on this blog which will become a new dedication to my lighting and rendering skills. The idea is still in pre-production at this moment in time, but I will be essentially trying to import a CGI object into live action footage.

3 IMPLIES CHAOS

This project was a side task for me. My friend needed a extra man to contribute with the project, particularly with texturing , lighting and rendering.  Iwas glad that I was involved with '3 Implies Chaos' as it was different work that was entirely CGI and revolved around an environment piece of mystery and wonder.

NATURE'S GARDENER

This blog focuses upon the Nature's Gardener film, which is my final major project for my third year at university. It has been the most fun so far however it is still in production. It is a VFX piece set within a woodland, following the life of a troll , being the last of his kind.

ADVANCED SKILLS

For this blog, it is just a unit that I had done which enabled myself to take time and research into a particular subject of the pipeline. I had chosen rendering and tried to better and improve my previous skills. There is useful tutorials and explanations to try ready yourself for compositing and more importantly what you need.

POST PRODUCTION

Being an older blog, this had the beginning of when I first started looking at post-production. It gave me first hand experience into what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It focuses upon a project called 'Phantasmagoria' which I feel was a really good finished VFX piece.

DEEP SEA ENCOUNTER

Another older blog but it remains back to when I was texturing and lighting the scene. It was again a very early experience in Maya, my second year at the start, and creating an underwater environment was a big challenge but something that was really inspirational and encouraging within a full CGI world.
