​The Early Days

This showreel includes my work within a group, where I conducted the lighting and the rendering. It was within my second year that this project 'Phantasmagoria' was made and since then my skills have developed but this still has a good importance into my first introduction into VFX. I included breakdowns and some work that includes some texturing. 

Nature's Gardener

During my involvement during the project of Nature's Gardener, I could really see my skills in both lighting and rendering improving. Within this showreel I break down the significant layers that contribute to creating a final composite, as well as the lighting techniques used to create a realistic appearance of our character

Lighting and Rendering - 3 Implies Chaos

3 Implies Chaos

Whilst working on Nature's Gardener, I also took up another project called 3 Implies Chaos. Although my involvement wasn't as prominent as Nature's Gardener, I still had a great deal of involvement, especially with my specialism in lighting and rendering.

Walking Pass Camera Shot
This is a quick video to demonstrate the amount of passes I had created to give the best and most control for my compositor.
HDR Lighting
This video displays a few HDRI's that I had stitched together in PT GUI. We had taken around 50 images for the wide angle lens, and only 5 for a fish eye, but both successfully stitched to create a spherical image that could be used in Maya to try recreate realistic lighting to apply to our character.
Phantasmagoria Breakdowns
This was from our older project Phantasmagoria. I was in charge with lighting and rendering but, being a new comer to the world of VFX, I have revisted the project and fixed the IBL lighting and the render passes to try show my development as an artist.
